Depending on your interactions with the Shiksha Bhavan portal, we collect the following categories of information:
- Parents & Students: Contact name, phone number (WhatsApp enabled), email address, student grade level, academic board (CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Board), subjects requested, and locality/city.
- Tutors & Educators: Full name, contact credentials, academic degrees and marksheets, teaching experience, preferred localities, government identification (Aadhaar/PAN for mandatory background checks), and bank details for payout distributions.
- System Data: Technical logs including IP address, browser type, device information, and session cookies necessary for authentication and fraud prevention.

All traffic between your browser and our servers is secured via 256-bit SSL encryption. We retain user information only for as long as necessary to maintain active placements, satisfy regulatory tax requirements, or until a parent or educator requests account deletion.
